Singer 115 sewing machine

New Companion treadle sewing machine

Sewing machines I recently brought home, and what they looked like when I got them.  The Home Maker was missing it's bobbin case, and the other two were minus their shuttles and bobbins.

I've cleaned up the Home Maker, and have been sewing on it, but haven't gotten to the others yet.

Home Maker

I removed the motor and put it in a treadle.  It treadles very easy, and has 10 stitches, including a blind stitch.  It also has a built in 5 step buttonholer.  It is a PRECISION built sewing machine from Japan.

Golden Star

The Golden Star was made by A. G. Mason, and takes the same shuttle as the White VS sewing machine.  I really like the way it looks, and I found a shuttle and bobbin for it in spare parts box, now I need to clean and oil it, so I can try it out!
